“The Well of ‘Abad Al-Rahman 1 This is the fourteenth well dug by the International Iraqi Women’s Assembly in the remote village of Kakwa — one of the impoverished villages in Cameroon. The villagers there used to drink stagnant rainwater that collected in pits and swamps, exposing them to diseases and depriving them of the most basic means of a decent life. Today, with the completion of this well, clean water flows to quench the thirst of children, women, and the elderly — bringing new life and hope to the village. May Allah reward Mrs. Thikrayat Mohammed Al-Abbasi, who bore the full cost of this well as a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) for her in this world and the Hereafter. 👆🏻 “Feeding the Needy Campaign” As part of its humanitarian mission and commitment to helping the most vulnerable groups around the world, the International Iraqi Women’s Assembly carried out a campaign to feed the needy in one of the impoverished villages of the Republic of Cameroon. This initiative was made possible through the generous support of a noble Iraqi lady (H.A.), who chose to offer her charity away from the spotlight—embodying the finest example of human generosity and compassion. The Assembly affirms that this initiative is one of a series of humanitarian efforts aimed at building bridges of solidarity and cooperation among nations, regardless of geographic borders or affiliations.
